How I Set Up My Day for Success (Even on Crazy-Busy Days)
Hey friends! ☀️
Let’s be real—no two days look the same over here. Between EMS shifts, working my wellness business, and keeping life semi-organized, it can get chaotic FAST.
But one thing I’ve learned? How I start my day makes all the difference. Even when my schedule is wild, having a few simple, grounding habits helps me stay focused, energized, and way less overwhelmed.
So today I’m sharing exactly how I set up my day for success—no matter how busy things get.
1️⃣ Coffee & Collagen ☕✨
Yes, coffee is life 😅—but I’ve also made it a ritual. Every morning starts with my coffee + collagen. It’s my little wellness boost and signals to my brain: okay, we’re starting fresh.
I love making this feel intentional—no rushing around, just me, my mug, and a deep breath to center myself.
2️⃣ A Few Minutes Outside 🌿
If the weather cooperates, I always try to step outside for a few minutes—whether it’s reading, journaling, or just sipping my coffee. Natural light + fresh air = an instant mood lift and the best way to wake up fully.
Even if it’s 5 minutes, it’s worth it.
3️⃣ Personal Development Reading 📖
Before diving into my to-dos, I spend 10–15 minutes reading something that fuels my mindset. This could be a personal growth book, a faith-based read, or even just a chapter that reminds me to stay grounded and motivated.
It’s like mental armor for the day ahead. 💪
4️⃣ Wellness Drink Prep 🍋
Once I’m settled, I mix up my wellness drink—a combo of hydration, gut health, and immunity support. It keeps my body feeling good and gives me energy that lasts way longer than coffee alone.
It’s also part of my “I’m taking care of ME” moment before the day gets hectic.
5️⃣ Planner Time 📝
Last but not least, I sit down with my planner to:
✅ Review my top 3 priorities for the day
✅ Check appointments + reminders
✅ Map out when I can fit in personal time (even if it’s small)
This keeps my day intentional, not reactive.
Why This Works (Even When Life Gets Crazy)
These habits aren’t long or fancy—they’re simple, grounding, and repeatable. And that’s the secret. I’m not aiming for “perfect” mornings. I’m aiming for anchored mornings.
Even when my EMS shifts start super early, I try to fit in mini versions of this routine—like sipping coffee with deep breaths or glancing at my planner in the rig.
It’s not about perfection—it’s about consistency.
My Encouragement for You 💫
If your mornings feel rushed, or you’re struggling to stay grounded during busy seasons, I encourage you to create your own mini morning routine. Start with just one thing that makes you feel calm and cared for, and build from there.
It doesn’t have to be fancy—it just has to feel good for YOU.
